Not Sure How Many Reusable Moving Boxes You Need?
At this time, we only rent CrateHub crates and it can be hard to tell exactly what you’re going to need. Each crate is 27” by 16” by 12” — roughly the equivalent of a medium-sized moving box (2.5 cu. ft).
For general guidance:
A dresser may require 3 or 4 crates.
A desk may require only 2 or 3 crates.
A small closet can usually hold 2 to 3 wardrobe boxes.

What can I store?
If it's contained within a box or generally rectangular shaped container, we likely can store it. The standard sized we provide are our plastic crates (which are included with your package), file boxes and wardrobe boxes are also excepted. If you have something already boxed, email us a photo and we can confirm for you that it will work.
How does plastic crate rental work?

It’s easy! First select the rental package you need based on the size of your move. All rental packages include CrateHub plastic crates.

Next, select a delivery date and time that's convenient for you. We'll deliver everything, and you can start packing right away, there is no tape or assembly required.

Finally, when you're done moving, we'll pick up the crates at your new place when it's convenient for you. No more cardboard mess to recycle!
Is there a weight limit for crates?
Yes! for your safety and ours, the below limits are in place. If an item exceeds the limit, we will ask you to repack some of the content into a second crate.
Plastic crates - 50 lbs
File - 35 lbs
Custom or client supplied boxes - 50 lbs or less, depending on structure and size of box.
